ComfortSelect Nasal Mask delivers the kind of secure,
personalized fit that most of us demand. Its dual-layer
cushion design and StabilitySelector™ help deliver
a comfortable fit and guard against mask leaks. It's
one more example of how the Comfort Series of Masks
helps fit 100% of patients 100% of the time.
The ComfortSelect, like all
masks in the Comfort Series, is latex free.
ComfortSelect offers a personalized fit that makes
it an ideal mask for a wide range of people.
Dual-layer cushion delivers
stability and comfort.
Adjustable forehead support arm and silicone forehead
pad help you find a secure, personalized fit.
With the mask on, even gentle tugging won't cause
leaks - the fit is that secure.
Fewer parts to lose or break make this mask easy to
live with.
Proper mask fit is critical
to ensuring that the ComfortSelect will meet the patient's
needs. Below are some guidelines to follow when fitting
a patient with a ComfortSelect mask:
Landmarks
a) Sides of nostrils
b) Bridge of nose zone
c) Below the nose tip, above the lip
Directions
Begin with sizing gauge. The
integrated sizing gauge on the package allows for
quick and easy fitting and cuts down on mask waste
by letting you determine the correct mask size before
you open the bag.
Check landmarks.
Choose the smallest mask that fits without pinching
or obstructing the nostrils.
Adjust Stability Selector so mask is parallel to face.
Tighten top straps, then bottom. DO NOT overtighten
straps.
Try the mask on with the device at the prescribed
pressure to ensure proper fit.
With its multiple adjustment
options, the ComfortSelect can deliver an ideal fit
to a wide range of patients. And through the combination
of its forehead pad and StabilitySelector, ComfortSelect
may be the perfect choice for patients who have experienced
difficulties finding a secure fit with other masks.
